Best known for his role as the memorable Manuel in the BBC Comedy Series “Fawlty Towers”, Andrew Sachs first made his screen debut in 1959 in the film The Night We Dropped a Clanger. He later guest-starred in numerous TV series throughout the 1960s. He has narrated and voiced for various Children’s TV Programs including William's Wish Wellingtons, Starhill Ponies, The Gingerbread Man, Little Grey Rabbit, The Forgotten Toys and Asterix and the Big Fight.
He was chosen to narrate two stories written by Christopher Awdry and published by Heinemann Young Books – these being:Thomas and the Tiger (1994) and Thomas and the Dinosaur (1994).
Andrew sadly passed away aged 86 in 2016.
