In 1992, Playtech released a Thomas the Tank Engine Remote Magical Engine. A roughly G scale plastic Thomas whose eyes move back and forth as he moves. He is activated by blowing a red whistle (seen in the photo below) to move forward or reverse. In reality, making any loud noise will activate him. Was Playtech trying to emulate Mr. Conductor’s whistle?
